Innistrad: Midnight Hunt/Commander decks

Two Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Commander decks were released together with Innistrad: Midnight Hunt.^[2]^[3] These are meant to be on-ramps to Commander, with a few new cards and the rest reprints.

Description

There are 30 new cards (with printed set code MIC and collector numbers #1/38 to #30/38) printed in the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Commander Decks.^[4] These cards are legal for play in the Commander, Vintage, and Legacy formats. They aren't legal for play in the Standard, Pioneer, or Modern formats. Eight additional cards with the MIC code (#31/38 to #38/38) can only be found in the Set and Collector Boosters. MIC #39-76 are extended-art versions of the previous cards.^[5] The other cards in these decks (with printed set code MIC and collector numbers #077-187) are legal for play in any format that already allows those cards; that is, appearing in these decks doesn't change a card's legality in any format.

The new cards are themed to the world and the reprints can be from anywhere. Angel of Glory's Rise is the only reprint with new art.

Cycles and additional cards

Eight additional cards with the MIC code (#31/38 to #38/38) can only be found in the Set and Collector Boosters. They aren't found in the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Commander decks.^[6] Five of these form the Visions cycle, while a sixth rare completes the Curses "cycle"^[7] of the main set.

Curses	Five rare Curses, four of which are part of the decks while Curse of Obsession completes the cycle. Each incentivizes you to (in certain cases) target yourself.

The last two additional cards are both mythic: Avacyn's Memorial and Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor.^[6]
