Tarkir/Timeline
Tarkir's timeline is not straightforward. It is a twin timeline that branches at one point with one influencing the other. The story of Sarkhan Vol is a straightforward path that winds through both timelines. For clarity, the Khans of Tarkir timeline where the dragons died out is referred to as the "Original timeline", while the Dragons of Tarkir timeline where they dragonlords took over the clans is referred to as the "Current timeline".
