Alex Maleev was the artist of the Armada comic Fallen Empires on the World of Magic: The Gathering.

Maleev began his comics career in Bulgaria with Godan and Carthel of Dead before moving to the U.S. in 1995 and attending The Kubert School. He quickly secured work on The Crow and Batman: No Man’s Land. Teaming with Bendis on Sam and Twitch in 2000, they later collaborated on Daredevil, Spider-Woman, Halo: Uprising, Moon Knight, and Scarlet.
