Four Tales of Middle-Earth Commander Decks are released together with The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-Earth on June 23, 2023.[2]

Description

Lord of the Rings Commander cards with the expansion code LTC and numbered #1–TBA (and their alternate versions numbered #TBA–TBA) are permitted in the Commander, Legacy, and Vintage formats. Returning cards with the expansion code LTC and numbered TBA–TBA are legal for play in any format that already allows those cards.

Each deck introduces 20 never-before-seen Commander cards to Magic: The Gathering.[3] All reprints in the Commander decks have new art, suited to the Lord of the Rings theme.[4]
