Space Opera is the working title for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering set codenamed "Volleyball". It is the 105th Magic expansion and is expected to be released in 2025.[1]
Set details
The story of the set is located in outer space and is top-down inspired by space opera. It will feature aliens.[2] The set was first teased during the 2023 Announcement Day panel at Gen Con Indiana.[1]
Storyline
The set marks the beginning of the third and final story arc of the Metronome storyline.
