Extra Life 2021 is a drop of cards in the Secret Lair product range and a continuation of the Secret Lair Drop Series. It will be available for pre-order purchase from the Wizards of the Coast webshop secretlair.wizards.com from November 5th through November 8th, 2021. The price is $ $39.99 / $49.99 (foil).[2][3]
Description
This Secret Lair Drop is a part of the annual Extra Life fundraiser to benefit the Seattle Children’s Hospital that Wizards takes part in, similar to the release of Ponies: The Galloping in 2019 and Secret Lair Drop Series: Extra Life 2020 in the subsequent year. A donation of $TBA per drop went towards the charity event.
Some cards styles that unexpectedly appeared on MTG Arena indicated that the theme of this drop was children drawings of famous cards, together with professional interpretations of those children drawings.[4] This was confirmed on October 20, 2021.[3]
So far two versions of each of the following cards have been discovered: Mulldrifter, Craterhoof Behemoth and Metalwork Colossus.
