Duel Decks: Phyrexia vs. The Coalition is the fifth set in the Duel Decks series. It was released on March 19th, 2010 and contains two preconstructed theme decks. The MSRP is $19.99.

Storyline
Duel Decks: Phyrexia vs. the Coalition is based primarily on the story of the Phyrexian Invasion of Dominaria, told in the Invasion block and the accompanying novels. Some of the cards in the set are reprinted from sets before Invasion, however, as both Urza and Yawgmoth had set millennia-long plans in motion which culminated in the invasion and the Coalition's resistance to, and eventual defeat of, the Phyrexians. The set was released in anticipation of Phyrexia's attempt to corrupt Mirrodin in the Scars of Mirrodin block.
Alternate Art
There are two foil cards with alternate artwork[1], both shifted to mythic rare status:
- Phyrexian Negator
- Urza's Rage (depicting Urza)
There are four other cards with alternate artwork:
- Armadillo Cloak (the pack contains two of these)
- Phyrexian Processor
- Voltaic Key (This artwork was later used in Magic 2011)
- Yavimaya Elder (the pack contains two of these)

Phyrexia
The rares in the Phyrexia deck are Living Death, Phyrexian Arena, Phyrexian Colossus, Phyrexian Negator, Phyrexian Plaguelord, and Phyrexian Processor.
Coalition
The rares in the Coalition deck are Coalition Relic, Darigaaz, the Igniter, Gerrard Capashen, Rith, the Awakener, Treva, the Renewer, and Urza's Rage.
Tokens
The Duel Decks: Phyrexia vs. The Coalition tokens are:
1/1 Saproling, produced by Rith, the Awakener and Rith's Charm
X/X Minion, produced by Phyrexian Processor- Colorless 1/1 insect artifact creature with flying and haste called Hornet, produced by Hornet Cannon
