Secret Lair Drop Series: Year of the Rat is a drop of cards in the Secret Lair product range and a continuation of the original Secret Lair Drop Series.[2] It became available for purchase from the Wizards of the Coast webshop secretlair.wizards.com on January 27, 2020. The drop lasted for 24 hours.
Description
The drop kicked off 2020 by bringing back some of the best and most beloved Rats in all of Magic's history to honor the Year of the Rat. In addition to brand-new alternate art, these powerful critters will swarm the board and ensure victory. The drop consists of four different foil cards, with one card appearing in five copies. It also contains a digital code for MTG Arena sleeves with the new Pack Rat art. The price is $39.99.
The drop was timed to coincide with the 2020 Chinese New Year, which was celebrated on Saturday, January 25.
