Duel Decks: Jace vs. Vraska is the 13th set in the Duel Decks series. It was released on March 14, 2014, with an MSRP of US$19.99.[2][3][4][5]
Description
Seven cards receive new artwork: Jace, Architect of Thought, Vraska the Unseen, Body Double, Remand, Putrid Leech, Night's Whisper and Future Sight. Consume Strength, Future Sight, Hypnotic Cloud, Memory Lapse, Prohibit and Tainted Wood are printed in modern frames for the first time.
The Duel Deck includes a Magic "learn to play" guide, a strategy insert, and three copies of a 1/1 black assassin token.
Background
Jace is the embodiment of the guildpact, a pact that is the agreement of the different Ravnican guilds to share power. Vraska is an assassin who follows her own moral code, unrestrained by guild-allegiance. Vraska's assassinations could lead to the destabilization of Ravnica and Jace refuses to let that happen.
