The Magnetic Mountain is a single mountain located on a barren plain north of Sukurvia, on the continent of Jamuura on the plane Dominaria.[1]
Description
The mountain is a tall peak made of lodestone, attracting any object made from iron, like steel. Due to immense size, the magnetic force is very strong, and is capable of pulling objects from far away. Surrounding the mountain is a bare plain stretching from the Blue Mountains to the west to the Jamuraan Sea in the east.[1]
A veritable treasure trove lies in plain sight on this mountain, but the supreme magnetism ensures it can never be removed by mortal hands.[2]
History
After stealing one of Johan's airships in Tirras, the Robaran Mercenaries piloted the craft northeast, unaware of the existence of the Magnetic Mountain. When the craft neared, the mountain started pulling on all its iron and steel, and the airship was pulled from the sky to crash catastrophically below the mountain's peak. Numerous people died in the crash or shortly afterwards, including Badger, Echo and Paxton, while others like Heath were badly injured and had to be left behind.[1]
