Source documents proving difficult to find

This list contains articles that have been updated to the new {{rulings}} template but whose original source has yet to be tracked down.

  • Buyback
    • The final ruling ("If a spell with buyback somehow gains flashback (such as with Snapcaster Mage's ability), the buyback cost may be paid, but the card will still be exiled as it resolves due to flashback's replacement effect exiling it regardless of whether flashback or buyback is applied first.")
  • Class
  • Convoke
    • The final ruling ("You can use creatures with summoning sickness to pay for convoke costs.")
  • Disturb (the last four)
  • Domain
    • The final ruling ("Basic lands without a basic land type cannot count towards Domain (e.g Wastes).")
  • Flanking (the final two)
  • Hexproof
    • The final ruling ("A card that has ‘hexproof’ is still affected by board wipes that don't target specifically that card.")
  • Horsemanship (both)
  • Indestructible
    • The middle ruling ("Planeswalkers with indestructible will still have loyalty counters removed from them as they are dealt damage. If a planeswalker with indestructible has no loyalty counters, it will still be put into its owner's graveyard, as the rule that does this doesn't destroy the planeswalker.")
  • Infect
    • The final ruling ("Creatures that have both infect and Toxic can add poison counters from both abilities when combat damage resolves.")
  • Modular
    • The final ruling ("If a creature with Modular gets enough −1/−1 counters to make its toughness 0 or cause the damage on it to be lethal, the Modular ability will still give another artifact creature +1/+1 counters equal to the number the Modular creature had before it got −1/−1 counters. See rule 704.8.")
  • Proliferate (Two Headed Giant ruling)
  • Rampage (both)
  • Renown
    • The final ruling ("A creature with renown and double strike will become renowned after dealing first-strike damage to a player, so it will receive +1/+1 counters before dealing regular combat damage.")
  • Typelink
  • Ward
    • Only the second ruling ("If a spell or ability that can't be countered targets one or more permanents with Ward, its controller may still choose to pay the Ward cost. Nothing happens if they don't pay the cost.")
