Argenti is part of the Edemi Islands, an island chain off the coast of Madara.[1]
Description
Argenti can be divided into two areas: the north is a great plain, ruled from the capital of Lisu; the south is a dense forest ruled from the Sylvan Library. The island's coasts are all sheer cliffs save for the southern coast, and thus one cannot reach Lisu without traveling through the thick forest.[2]
The forest consists of massive evergreens, the oldest and largest trees towering high over the rest of the forest. Unlike the forest, the northern fields are a wide, relatively flat expanse of farmland and gently rolling hills. Clear of the trees, one can see the ocean, distant in the west, and a trio of white stone turrets rising farther to the north. The island's southern beach is a rich brown color and is littered with pine cones.[1]
History
At a point in time, the northern part of Argenti was ruled by Ohabi Caleria, while the southern forest was ruled by Magnus. Since Magnus could animate the forest's vegetation and command its wildlife, passing through without his permission could be difficult. [1]
During the Madara-Edemi War, when Lady Caleria rallied the Edemis against the empire, Argenti was attacked by the kentsu and was nearly destroyed, but with the help of Ayesha Tanaka, Lord Magnus managed to defeat the invaders by animating the leather in their clothing and killing them with their armor.
