Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate is a MTG Arena-exclusive card set that will be released on the 7th of July 2022[2]. It is a set in the Alchemy-series.[3]
Description
Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate is a digital only release adjacent to the release of Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate. This set combines a selection of cards from Battle for Baldur's Gate with cards from that set digitally rebalanced for 1v1 on Arena, and brand new designed-for-digital cards ("Straight-to-Alchemy"). It introduces more than 250 cards to MTG Arena. The set, unlike previous Alchemy sets, is designed as a full drafting experience, and will have queues open.[4]
As all Alchemy cards, the cards of this set have the MTG Arena "A" as a "foil stamp" at the central bottom of the card. The set also features the A22 expansion symbol.
Mechanics
The digital-only mechanics Conjure, Perpetually and Seek that were introduced in Jumpstart: Historic Horizons all return in this set.
