Chris Clay is a former designer and Game Director for MTG Arena at Wizards of the Coast.

Clay started working as a designer in July 2016, becoming Product Owner for the Duel Scene team. In April 2017, he became the first Game Director for MTG Arena, leading the development team from an initial Alpha build into Open Beta.[1] In May 2019, he left the company and was replaced by Jay Parker.

Clay illustrated the Mystery Booster test card Trial and Error.[2]
