Maro's Dominaria United Teaser

Mark Rosewater gave his traditional teaser with the following hints.

First up, here are some things you can expect:

• a new evergreen counter — Stun counter
• a popular planeswalker card gets a reprint — Liliana of the Veil
• a blue card with “destroy all creatures” — The Phasing of Zhalfir
• a five mana value creature that can be a 10/10 — Territorial Maro
• three original Weatherlight crew members are in the set — Squee (Squee, Dubious Monarch); Ertai (Ertai Resurrected); Karn (Karn, Living Legacy)
• an ability word that didn’t start as an ability word returns — Domain

Other

• The Insect token used with Xira, the Golden Sting depicts another Eumidian.
• The Painlands had the unusual 6-4 split due to an unusual set of circumstances. Ironically, despite being on Dominaria, The Brothers' War's timeframe had not yet dubbed three of the lands in Adarkar, Karplusan and Yavimaya, so they could not be printed in that set. As these were mixed allied and enemy, and missing black, Caves of Koilos and Sulfurous Springs would make up the rest. This would normally leave two sets of redistributed cycles, but Play Design found Shivan Reef important enough to need printing a set earlier. As the five printed were already mismatched between ally and enemy, it was approved to do so, resulting in the odd split.
