General trivia
- Consecrate Land, like many of the first Magic cards, did not have at least a copy of the original artwork retained by Wizards of the Coast. Instead, the original artist, Jeff A. Menges painted what could be considered a forgery of his own artwork from images of the original card for use in Time Spiral.[1]
- Dementia Sliver is the only member of the multicolored sliver cycle that does not mimic an enchantment.
- Paradox Haze is the first Aura with Enchant player printed in black border. It was inspired by a submission to the You Make the Card event.
- Prismatic Lens is strictly better than Mana Prism and Celestial Prism.
- Sarpadian Empires, Vol. VII is the first card to have an entirely italicized name.
- Thunder Totem is the only card in the Totem cycle whose artist is not the same as the card it refers to.
- Voidmage Prodigy is the only Timeshifted card not to feature the artwork used in its original printing. The artwork from a promotional version was used here instead.
