Slides Stardust was a good mage.[1]
During the Great Magus War on Antausia, Slides and Selena Mistencharmer assembled small hordes at Mt. Margalus. They defeated the evil Mandrake Nightshade with his dragons and pit lords. The mountain has since become known as Mandrake's Mountain.
Upon his death, Selena and Slides feared his possible resurrection, so they put a dangerous curse on the mountain that would drain anyone who set foot on the mountain.
