Martuk was a great mage.[1]
History
During the Great Magus War, Mandrake Nightshade destroyed Martuk, and he fell deep into what became known as the Caverns of Martuk. His powerful magic saturated the caverns, attracting many creatures to the area hopeful of drawing from the source.
