Russiore is a city on the great island of Gulmany, part of the Terisian Isles on modern day Dominaria.
Description
Russiore lies on the northeast coast of Gulmany, not very far from Efuan Pincar. The city lies directly on the shore and is ruled over by a prince.
History
In 3245 AR, Xantcha came to Russiore to plant anti-sleeper agent traps after being dropped off by Urza. She took the opportunity of Russiore's proximity to Efuan Pincar to travel to Pincar City on an errand given by her lover, Ratepe. There, she stumbled upon Phyrexian sleeper agents in the temple of Avohir. Going deeper into the dark halls beyond, she encountered the praetor Gix, who recognized her. He almost managed to convert her back to Phyrexia through mind control, but the thoughts of Ratepe saved her, and she escaped back to Russiore. She spent the next eight days, thoroughly shaken, setting the sleeper traps in the seacoast principality before Urza came to collect her after a storm.[1]
