The Plains of Oneah are in the central part of the island of Oneah in the Domains, which also contains Amjad, Shanodin, Savaea and the Red Mountains, which ring the plains on all sides except by the sea. The island of Oneah lies east of Kish and northeast of Foriys, with the continent of Aerona further west.
History
The Plains of Oneah used to host the Seven Cities of the Sun, the heartland of the nation of Oneah. In 4165, following the lengthy Goblin Wars, goblins swarmed from their warrens in the Red Mountains and filled the Plains of Oneah with bloodshed. One by one, the Cities of the Sun fell to the rampaging hordes. The ruined cities burned and crumbled, and most of their citizens were killed battling the goblins, with only a few survivors fleeing their homes, never to return.[1]
