Krieghelm is a fortress in southwestern Jamuraa, on the plane of Dominaria.[1]
Description
Krieghelm lies in the Tirran Mountains overlooking the sprawl of Tirras in the foothills below. The mountain stronghold is a castle carved into the very face of a granite mountain so that turrets battlements and staircases merge with naked stone.[1]
History
For hundreds of years, Krieghelm was the keep of Emperor-Tyrant Johan, and was his base of operations while he drove Johan's War. At a point during the war, Hazezon Tamar and Adira Strongheart were both imprisoned in a cell in Krieghelm, but they managed to escape through a combination of Hazezon's magic and a rescue party led by Jedit Ojanen.[2]
