Information
Plane Dominaria
Part of Estark, Kush, Aerona, the Domains

The Arena is the large structure near the city of Estark on Dominaria, where the famous Festival of the Arena took place. Year after year, the five Houses of Kush gathered there to fight magical duels. [1]

Description

The arena is situated in a natural, bowl-shaped valley just outside the city gates, to the south of the city's harbor. The fighting area measures over three hundred fathoms across, the entire circumference ringed with seats that rise for over a hundred rows, providing seating for more than three hundred thousand spectators. On the sloping ground that stretches from the arena up to the city wall, hundreds of thousands more who could not get tickets could gather to watch the spectacle, though all they could hope to see was the struggle of antlike creatures far below.[1]

History

Centuries after the fall of Kush during the Phyrexian Invasion of Dominaria, the Arena became the focus of worship for a sect of wizards.

Grand Masters

The Grand Master of Arena was ruler of the city of Estark and master of yearly Festival taking place in the Arena, near the city.[1]
