The Avatar: The Last Airbender Beginner Box is a supplemental Magic set with additional Avatar cards, designed as onboarding experience for beginning players. It is marketed as the best way to learn how to play and includes all essentials for someone's first game of Magic: The Gathering.[2]

Description

The Beginner Box consists of 10 packets with 20 Avatar: The Last Airbender cards inside each one, with two packets for each of Magic’s five colors of mana (200 cards total). Using the mix-and-match system originally designed for the Jumpstart product line, players can combine and recombine those 10 packets into many different kinds of decks. Beginning players can start with a tutorial game with two pre-shuffled 20-card decks, each with a step-by-step tutorial that will walk them through their first five turns.

Note that the packs and themes in the Beginner Box differ from the Jumpstart packs that can be found in Avatar: The Last Airbender Jumpstart.
