Information
Plane Dominaria
Part of Buzzard's Bay port, Witch's Weir, Buzzard's Bay, Storm Coast, Western Jamuraa

The Adventurers' Guildhouse is a famous inn and adventuring hub in the port of Buzzard's Bay of Jamuraa, on the plane of Dominaria.

Description

The guildhouse lies directly on the Seafarer's Quay, a deepwater harbor known for its safe docking amid a treacherous sea. The Witch's Weir where the quay is located is the safest part of Buzzard's Bay, which otherwise is teeming with jagged rocks and reefs and is battered by storms most of the year. The Adventurers' Guildhouse is a huge building, built like a lord's mead hall, with stout stone on the first floor able to withstand a battering ram, with beams and stucco for the second and third floors. The main floor is a single enormous tavern where adventuring bills are posted and ale is served. The big room is crammed with scarred sturdy tables and benches despite its size. Located in a seaport that serves all of Dominaria, every color of human and various other species are represented as patrons, with the guildhouse known to host dwarves, barbarians, pirates, and centaurs, among others. The second floor is an inn, divided into female and male sections. There, weary travelers can stretch out on thin pallets and sleep in safety. [1]

History

In 3334 AR, a party consisting of Adira Strongheart, Jedit Ojanen, Jasmine Boreal and several others arrived at Buzzard's Bay in search of Johan. Far from his homeland of Efrava, Jedit drew much attention and curiosity from the locals at Seafarer's Quay. Adira booked a night for her entire party at the guildhouse. While the men went pub to pub and got into a brawl, the women slept and had a breakfast of fish chowder, black bread, wedges of cheese, and dark, foaming ale. Then someone cast an aggression spell and the whole tavern erupted in a brawl until Jasmine Boreal cast a Fog spell, allowing Adira and her Circle to flee the scene.[1]
