Description

Playtest card used at the event.

The event cards feature playtest stickers, looking and functioning like the test cards of the Mystery Booster set. Being playtest stickers, the cards have no art, artist credits, or Collector number, and are marked with internal card codes. In contrast to the Philadelphia event cards, Minneapolis cards have a regular, colored card frame, colored mana symbols in their casting cost, a rarity indicator where the expansion symbol would normally be located, and a Power/Toughness box. A total of 62 new cards were designed for this event, as well as 11 planes.

Kylem All-Star	RW04	Creature — Human Warrior When ~ enters the battlefield, create a token copy of All that Glitters and attach it to this creature. (It's an aura with "enchanted creature gets +1/+1 for each artifact and/or enchantment you control.) Enchantments you control are Gold artifacts in addition to their other types and have "Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color." 2/2	Reference to the song "All Star" by Smash Mouth.
Gerrard and Hanna	RW04	Legendary Creature — Human Soldier Artificer Whenever ~ attacks, you gain 1 life for each card in target opponent's hand. Then, choose one — Return target artifact or enchantment card from your graveyard to your hand. Tap up to one target creature. 3/4	Team up of Gerrard Capashen and Hanna, Ship's Navigator.
Agoraphobic Phyrexian	RW05	Creature — Phyrexian Cleric Flying When ~ enters the battlefield, the plane effect of the Unknown event doesn't apply to this game for as long as it remains on the battlefield. 4/4
Shadowmoor Draw Spell	CU04	Instant Untap Convoke (Each tapped creature that you untap while casting this spell pays for or one mana of that creature's color. This counts as convoke.) Draw two cards.	Reference to Shadowmoor's use of untap as a cost.
Ulgrotha Charm	UU03	Instant Choose one — Merchant Scroll (Search for a blue instant.) Memory Lapse (Counter a spell and put it on top of its owner's library.) Forget (Target player discards 2, then draws that many.)	Charm with three Homelands card options. Part of the plane charm cycle.
Xerex Squire	UU03	Creature — Human Knight Whenever ~ attacks, calculate the hypotenuse of another creature you control. ~'s power and toughness become equal to that number, rounded up, until end of turn. (To calculate a hypotenuse, let A be that creature's power and B be that creature's toughness. Then C = √(a² + b²). C is the hypotenuse. Or just look up a calculator online.) 1/1
Farseeing Flockmate	UU04	Creature — Bird Wizard Flying Flying backup (When this creature enters the battlefield, put a flying counter on target creature. If that's another creature, it also gains the following ability until end of turn.) Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, planeswalker, or battle, surveil 1. 3/2	A mechanical twist on backup.
Phyrexian Adapter	RU02	Creature — Phyrexian Wizard Flying All Incubator tokens you control become Food, Blood, Clue, Treasure, and Powerstone in addition to their other types, and have the respective abilities of those tokens. Toothy and Zndrsplt	RU04	Legendary Creature — Homunculus Illusion Whenever you win a coin flip, put a +1/+1 counter on ~. At the beginning of combat on your turn, flip a coin until you lose a flip. May of the Machine	CB03	Sorcery Destroy target creature or planeswalker. If today's date is May 6th, scry 1. If today's date is May 7th, fateseal 1. (To fateseal 1, look at the top card of an opponent's library. You may put that card on the bottom of their library.)
Incubob	UB02	Sorcery When ~ enters the battlefield, Incubate Dark Confidant 1. (Create an Incubator Dark Confidant token with a +1/+1 counter on it and ": Transform this artifact." It transforms into Dark Confidant, except it's also a Phyrexian.) Flashback , Pay 3 life.	Combination of the Incubate keyword and Bob. It was changed from an enchantment to a sorcery late in development and the "enters the battlefield" clause was not removed.
Innistrad Charm	UB02	Sorcery Choose one — Cemetery Recruitment (Return a creature card from graveyard to hand, draw a card if it's a Zombie.) Duress (Look at their hand, make them discard a noncreature, nonland.) Human Frailty (Destroy target Human.)	Charm with three Innistrad set card options. Part of the plane charm cycle.
Incubation Triformer	RB03	Creature — Phyrexian Cleric When ~ enters the battlefield, incubate 1. : Choose target transformed Phyrexian token you control. Transform it into a third side that's a 3/3 Phyrexian Horror artifact creature. 3/3	References the triple-faced Heroes of the Realm card Optimus Prime, Inspiring Leader.
Quest Compleated Best	RB04	Legendary Creature — Phyrexian Beast Menace, Lifelink, Toxic 2 ~ can’t be blocked by tokens. Your opponent can't gain life or remove poison counters. Whenever ~ deals combat damage to an opponent, it deals that much damage to target battle that player is protecting. 4/4	References Questing Beast.
Invasion Specialist	RB04	Creature — Phyrexian Cleric Battles you control have "-3: You draw a card and lose 1 life." (Activate by removing three defense counters. You control battles you cast, even if an opponent protects them.) 5/4
Myojin of Night's Reach Grim Betrayal	RB08	Legendary Creature — Spirit ~ enters the battlefield with an indestructible counter on it if you cast it from your hand. Remove an indestructible counter from ~: Each opponent discards their hand. Put onto the battlefield under your control all creature cards in all graveyards that were put there from anywhere this turn. 10/4	Team up of Myojin of Night's Reach and Myojin of Grim Betrayal.
Azra Matchthrower	CR04	Creature — Azra Warrior Battlebond (You may pair this creature with an unpaired battle you control when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as you control both of them.) As long as ~ is paired with a battle, each of those permanents has "Whenever this permanent is dealt combat damage, this permanent deals 1 damage to any target." 4/4	Combination of the Soulbond keyword and Battle card type.

Nevermind	UR11	Instant — Arcane (Spells without mana costs can't be played) When this spell resolves, discard a card. Then draw a card. Across the Multiverse	RR13	Enchantment Nontoken creatures you control which aren't from the MOM main set get +1/+0 and gain haste. (This includes Multiverse Legends, playtest cards, cards from Mystery Booster, and anything else not from the MOM main set.)	Name references the Beatles's song "Across the Universe."
Norin and Feldon	RR02	Legendary Creature — Human Warrior Artificer , : Create a token that's a copy of target creature card in your graveyard, except it's an artifact in addition to its other types, gains haste, and has "Whenever a player casts a spell or a creature attacks, exile this token." Activate only as a sorcery. 2/2	Team up of Norin the Wary and Feldon of the Third Path.
Polis the Planeshifter	MR01	Legendary Creature — Azra Wizard When ~ enters the battlefield, choose a plane at random from among all planechase planes. ~ has all abilities of the last chosen plane. (Rolls of the planar die don't affect Polis.) : Flip a Coin. If you win the flip, do ~'s chaos ensues effect. If you lose the flip, choose a new plane for ~. Merfolk Surveyor	CG03	Creature — Merfolk Scout When ~ enters the battlfield, explore-clash. If you win the explore-clash, gain 3 life. (To explore-clash, you and an opponent each reveal the top card of your respective libraries. Put any lands revealed this way into their owner's hands. Put a +1/+1 counter on this creature for each nonland card revealed this way. Then, each player who didn't get a nonland puts the card back or into their graveyard. Praetorhoof Behemoth	RG06	Creature — Phyrexian Praetor Beast Haste When ~ enters the battlefield, you may search your library and reveal any number of Praetors from among cards in your library and hand. Creatures you control gain trample and get +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of Praetors you have showing from among your hand, library, battlefield, and graveyard. Sword of Fire and Ice and War and Peace	RA06	Artifact — Equipment Equipped creature gets +4/+4 and has protection from white, blue, and red. Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to an opponent, ~ deals 2 damage to any target and you draw a card. Then, it deals damage to defending player equal to the number of cards in their hand and you gain 1 life for each card in your hand. Equip	Team up of Sword of Fire and Ice and Sword of War and Peace.
Battle Myrsphere	RA07	Artifact Creature — Phyrexian Myr When ~ enters the battlefield, reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a battle card. Put it onto the battlefield, and the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. Whenever ~ attacks, you may tap X untapped battles you control (so they're oriented like a regular Magic card). If you do, ~ gets +X/+0 until end of turn and deals X damage to that player or permanent. 4/7	A mechanical twist on Myr Battlesphere and the Battle card type.
