Tarmula is both a lake and one of the Seven Great Houses in Benalia, part of the Domains of Dominaria.
Lake Tarmula
Lake Tarmula is located in central Benalia. It is surrounded by forest[1], but presumably also hosts vineyards, as dark Tarmulian wine is exported to other parts of Aerona, notably Estark in Kush.[2]
Clan Tarmula
Clan Tarmula claims that they are descended from the ancient nobility of the Sheoltun Empire. They are known to be scholars, wizards, and astronomers. Rache Tarmula, who is the current head of the house, is a graduate of the Tolarian Academy. Clan Tarmula hails from the wooded shores of Lake Tarmula, and their symbol is a seven-pointed star.[3] Garth's wife Rakel was of the Tarmula clan.[2]
