Page size

While I can appreciate a work in progress, is there a particular reason this is the second-biggest page on the site? I note it's doubled in size in the last four months, so I imagine the other secondary character pages will also eventually grow, but can this be split in any sensible fashion? Given how the first 10-15 years of the game were set on Dominaria, and all literature, there's THAT many named secondary characters. It has doubled because of Varg's work going through the old novels and documenting. I think this is going to grow unless we decide to separate by continents that everything took place on. While it's true this page might still grow a bit more, I'm actually almost done with the Dominaria-era novels now so I'm not expecting it to grow significantly more. Some of the other secondary character pages will grow a bit too but nowhere near as much as this one has. With regards to its size, I don't mind it being long - but if we're going to separate, going by continent could be a cool way to do it.--Varghedin (talk) 15:41, 29 April 2025 (UTC)

I see that the length of the article is partly from the extensive and very detailed referencing , which is a good reason to be long. I usually find pages above 150k difficult to edit and navigate, but this page is usually accessed by redirect, which makes it easier to deal with.
