Hi, I'm Varghedin. I am a huge lore-nerd (Vorthos), and I like in particular geography, maps, in-game history, timeline and setting, which old school Magic has in abundance.
I started playing the game back in 1994, when Magic was almost brand-new, and the stores sold boosters of the Dark, Fallen Empires, and Revised Edition. I remember being excited about the release of Ice Age.
I still follow the lore, but I don't play much any more, as the increasing amount of supplemental sets like Universes Beyond and Secret Lair are taking over the product, without adding anything to the in-game lore.
I make my own maps, and I can take commissions for those. I also make fantasy character art, although those are not on this site, as Magic does a good job of creating beautiful artwork for most of its characters.
