Oath Humor

"The initial group lacked a black planeswalker. Ob Nixilis was in the neighbourhood, but opposed the group. Ironically, he sometimes known as Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath, but that refers to the oath he swore to the demons he invoked on his homeworld when he still was human."

Funny :D , but I guess not relevant. VinciEX (talk) 22:58, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

It's all nicely cited from MaRo's Tumblr now. I'll leave it to others to determine whether it's appropriate content. --Corveroth (talk) 01:04, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
Even more Oaths are taken. :P - Yandere Sliver 09:10, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

Do we really need to list them twice on the page? - Yandere Sliver 13:39, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Merge Formation (event) into Gatewatch article

I think the information covered in the Formation of the Gatewatch article really belongs in this Gatewatch article. I don't think there's enough notability to the event that it should be hived off as a separate article. Thoughts? -- RivalRowan (talk) 23:40, 2 July 2025 (UTC)

I agree. If anything, I could see an article existing for the battle at Sea Gate, of which the formation of the Gatewatch was a part, but on it's own I'm not sure that short conversation between characters deserves its own article. RudleyDudley (talk) 02:54, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
The event is the foundation of what would go on to dramatically affect not just Zendikar but multiple planes of existence. It is a critical turning point for several of the story's main characters and directly leads to both the end battles on Zendikar and Innistrad and is also fundamental throughout the whole Bolas arc afterwards. The consequences of this happening are way more far-reaching than the Battle at Sea Gate.--Varghedin (talk) 07:13, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
