The Scarwoods were a large stretch of forest during the Dark Age of Terisiare on Dominaria.[1]
History
Although their exact location is unknown, the Scarwoods were part of the continent of Terisiare during the Dark Age. The forest was host to bandits[2], demons[3], its own breed of goblins[4], hags[5], and scavenger folk.[6]
The Scarwoods were known to Mairsil at the Conclave of Mages, and he compared their much more impressive size to the smaller yet deadly Tanglewoods when he told Jodah about the lands around the school.[1]
What happened to the Scarwoods is unknown, but they were likely lost either to the glaciers of the Ice Age or the floods of the Thaw, as modern maps of Terisian Isles do not feature them.
