Malpiri was the name of a nation of Terisiare on Dominaria during the Brothers' War and the Dark Age.

History

Its heartlands were the Malpiri Plains, located northeast of the Monastery of Gix.

The Archmandrite of the Ivory Tower invited Kathwar, chief of the Malpiri clan, representing the Sardian people as well as the Malpiri, to join the Council of Mages. Kathwar was the representative of shamanic mountain magic on the Council.

In the northern part of the Malipiri plains lay a cluster of mountains known as the Flarg, which was home to an aggressive tribe of goblins.

Like most nations of Terisiare, Malpiri was devastated during the Brothers' War. The Malpiri people remained on the cooling plains through the Dark Age, eventually becoming supplanted by the newly formed nation of Balduvia during the Ice Age.
