Lucas Esper Berthoud is a Brazilian professional Magic player.
Professional play
He won Pro Tour Aether Revolt in 2017, a tournament in which he posted a perfect 12–0 Standard record. He was also the 2007 Brazilian national champion. At the Grand Prix level, he has finished in the top eight of two events: GP São Paulo 2014, where he finished third, and GP Santiago 2018, where he finished first alongside teammates Sebastian Pozzo and Luis Salvatto. In December 2018, it was announced that Berthoud would be one of the 32 players joining the upcoming 2019 Magic Pro League. In the 2020 partial season he played a tier lower, in the 2020 Rivals League. After the 2020-21 season he was relegated again, to Challenger status.
