DeQuan Watson, also known as PowrDragn, is a USA-based content creator. He started playing Magic in high school in 1994 and since then he became a store owner, competitive player, tournament organizer and worked for coverage. Currently he streams, writes articles, hosts the Color of Magic podcast each week and plays Commander on a casual level.[1][2]
DeQuan was a member of the Commander Advisory Group from January 2021 until its dissolution in September 2024.[3] He was invited to be a founding member of the Commander Format Panel and is a current active member.[2]
Gavin Verhey designed the test card The Powerful Dragon in honour of DeQuan and his contributions to the community. It was first printed for the Unknown Event held at MagicCon Las Vegas 2024.
