Information
Plane Dominaria
Part of Cape Tempest, Aerona

Coraleon is a city on Cape Tempest, located at the very northeastern tip of the continent of Aerona on the plane of Dominaria.

Description

Despite the cool, harsh climate, the land is green, fed by a clear river running from the K'Cur Mountains. The weather is also tempered by the coastal climate, although the cape is known for being quite windy. The land around Coraleon is wooded, providing ample sources of lumber. Ships sailing from Coraleon can head directly south or east to the Sea of Whales, while going westward on the ocean leads to the Rip, with Icehaven beyond.[1]

Coraleon has a tavern, The Gutted Cockatrice. The city itself hosts a continued festival, where every emotion is celebrated.[2] - there is a Festival of Joy, a Festival of Love, a Festival of Doubt, a Festival of Fear, a Festival of Hatred at the end of winter, and a Festival of Sorrow at the end of spring. Interestingly, the Festival of Sorrow marks its start with a Hymn to Tourach.[3] Tourach was a Sarpadian mortal turned deity worshipped by the Order of the Ebon Hand millennia earlier, but his name and reverence survived the test of time and was carried to far-off northern Aerona.

Recently the region has deteriorated.[4]
