Automatown is a Dominarian town located in the Red Iron Mountains of Aerona, part of the Domains of Dominaria.
Description
Automatown is known for its artificers and archaeologists, traders, and inventors who had gathered over the years to invent, investigate, repair, and trade in all manner of magical, mechanical, and clockwork creatures and items. Many are the nice folks who live there, for the general bazaar-like nature of the town demands support industries like inns, taverns, and stables. There is even a temple there with a clockwork godling that exchanges blessings for gold. Automatown lies east of Grover's Pub, and Loot Niptil called it "Junktown". [1]
History
At a point, Sopti Borth was murdered in her Automatown workshop, and Loot Niptil was accused of the murder. In a trial against the Justiciar of Automatown, Loot proved his innocence and revealed that it was Haspian Chastoril who was the true culprit.[1]
