Oiyan was a human ranger and member of Yasova Dragonclaw's hunting party, two generations after the Khanfall on Tarkir.

Description

Oiyan was one of Yasova Dragonclaw’s dependable hunters. He was rugged and equipped with practical hunting gear, similar to his companions. He, along with his comrades Mattak, Darka, Rakhan, Sorya, and Fec, demonstrated loyalty and competence throughout their journey. His attire and equipment was suitable for surviving in harsh environments, ready to face the challenges posed by the wilderness and dragon encounters. Oiyan, like the other hunters, embodied the qualities of discipline, skill, and alertness. His assignment to sentry duty around the concealed entrance to the rock chamber showed his reliability and vigilance. Oiyan was included in the group of trusted hunters, and he possessed a strong sense of duty and loyalty to Yasova Dragonclaw and their mission. He demonstrates a calm and composed demeanor, essential for maintaining focus and effectiveness in dangerous situations.

History

Oiyan’s fate is intertwined with the group's collective experiences and the perilous journey they undertook to the crucible of Ugin. As one of the sentries, he played a role in ensuring the safety and security of the party, particularly when they were vulnerable in their makeshift shelters. Oiyan’s disciplined nature and ability to remain vigilant in the face of danger are vital to the group’s survival. His fate, like that of his fellow hunters, depended on their ability to navigate the constant threats from dragons and other dangers in their environment. Oiyan’s skills and reliability would continue to be a part of the group’s efforts to achieve their goals and protect one another, even after facing off against the vast might of Nicol Bolas.
