Template:Expansion Unlimited, the second edition of Core Sets, was released in 1993. It is the first white-bordered set and is simply a white-bordered version of Beta, the second printing of the first edition.

This set was first released in January 1994 and sold out by late March 1994.
The print run was announced by Wizards to be 40 million cards.
Cycles
- Circles of protection: Circle of Protection: White, Circle of Protection: Blue, Circle of Protection: Black, Circle of Protection: Red and Circle of Protection: Green are each common white enchantments with the ability to prevent the next damage from a source of a color for 1 mana.
