The Mirrodin block was the ninth block, consisting of the large expansion Mirrodin (File:Mirrodin.gif), and the two small expansions Darksteel (File:Darksteel.gif) and Fifth Dawn (File:Fifthdawn.gif).
The theme of this block is artifacts, and the set introduced the first Artifact subtype, Equipment.
The mechanics found throughout this block are Affinity, Entwine, Equip, and Imprint. The smaller sets added Modular and Sunburst to the list.
