- For other uses, see Mirrodin (disambiguation).
Template:Expansion Mirrodin is the thirty-first Magic expansion and was released in 2003 as the first set in the Mirrodin Block.
This set features: Equipment - a new type of artifact which can be attached to your creature to arm them with special abilities. If the creature dies, the Equipment "falls" back into play and can be re-attached to another of your creatures such as Loxodon Warhammer.
Keywords
- Imprint — This ability found on artifacts allows you to remove a card from the game and "imprint" the attributes of the removed card onto your artifact such as Chrome Mox.
- Entwine — These spells that give you two options, or pay an extra cost and do both such as Tooth and Nail.
Cycles
- Artifact lands: These artifact lands reduced the cost of spells with afinity proving to be too powerful and eventually banned in Mirrodin block tournaments - Darksteel Citadel, Great Furnace, Seat of the Synod, Tree of Tales, and Vault of Whispers
- Artifacts with activated abilities with two different costs — Crystal Shard, Granite Shard, Heartwood Shard, Pearl Shard, and Skeleton Shard.
- Golems: Each of these artifact creatures has a color-specific ability - Cobalt Golem, Hematite Golem, Malachite Golem, Pewter Golem and Titanium Golem
- Talismans: Each of these artifacts cost File:Mana2.gif to cast. They had the same abilities as an allied-color painland - Talisman of Dominance, Talisman of Impulse, Talisman of Indulgence, Talisman of Progress and Talisman of Unity
Notable cards

- Loxodon Warhammer
- Broodstar
