The Mirage block (aka MirvLight - a conglomeration of MIRage Visions weatherLIGHT) was the second block of sets, consisting of the large expansion Mirage (File:Mirage.gif) in 1996 followed by two small expansions, Visions (File:Exp sym visions.gif) in February 1997 and Weatherlight (File:Weatherlight.gif) in June of 1997.

Mechanics found throughout this block include "flanking" and "phasing".

Theme decks

The Mirage block theme decks were designed for MTGO, as these expansion sets were printed before theme decks were first printed in the Tempest block.
