Loot, the Fomori child is an infant Fomori who was sought and found by the planeswalker Jace Beleren within Maag Taranau on Thunder Junction.
Description
At the top of the innermost platform within Maag Taranau was a pod-like structure encased in glass. Metal stretched around the glowing sphere, marked with an ancient script and surrounded by threads of amber magic. Behind it was a mural of an enormous horned creature, towering over the platform like a guardian. When the planeswalker Oko approached the pod, he noticed a shape moving behind the glass, too obscured by a cloudy haze to make out properly.
Jace Beleren, disguised as Ashiok, revealed that he had been looking for the creature inside, Loot. He pressed both hands to the glass, and the pod shattered. Loot rested on what was left of the altar. Loot's body was covered in orange fur, and a single tuft of cream hair sat at the top of its head, wedged between two dark horns. A long tail curled around Loot's legs, hollow at the tip. Inside, a blue orb flickered to life. Loot's nose twitched, sensing the open air, and a pair of large green eyes fluttered open as if Loot had been asleep for a very long time.
After that, Jace and and his collaborator Vraska disappeared with Loot.[1]
