Categorizing keywords

Now that I'm trying this myself, I'm encountering some problems. There seem to be some unclarities in your defenitions and categories.

Raid is not keyword, but an ability word. It is also not a triggered keyword, but a triggered ability.

Any idea, how to clear this up? --Hunter (talk) 08:12, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

Actually those definitions and categories are used in Comprehensive Rules to define and classify keywords. But there is no official definition or entries for ability words.
...so we may not apply those classification on ability words...(otherwise we need to classify them by our judgement)
...perhaps the template use for keyword only? Unistardust (talk) 11:24, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
.... Yes that would be the way to go, I suppose. A seperate infobox for keyword actions and a seperate infobox for ability words. Each may be static, triggered or activated. (talk) 14:59, 15 August 2014 (UTC) Not sure if characteristic and evasion are types of abilities. Edit: I see, they are subtypes of the static ability. --Hunter (talk) 15:10, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, it should be okay for ability words, but not sure for keyword action...seem not likely to be classified this way... Unistardust (talk) 05:14, 17 August 2014 (UTC)

Last used - reprints?

I just realized I'm not clear whether reprints are supposed to count for "last set used" aka "last" parameter in this template! I'm sure I could poll a bunch of existing mechanics but figured better to bring it up directly and then I can document it on template usage notes :) If a vote is involved I would say...both? Search results

Is there any way to change the "Scryfall Search" of Keyword Infobox to use keyword:"[Keyword]" rather than current fulloracle:"[Keyword]". It results in lot of junk results, especially with keywords commonly used in card names (for example "fulloracle:"Shadow"" return 95 results, most of ot stuff like Altar of Shadows or Death's Shadow, compared to 35 of keyword:"Shadow"). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 78.61.224.49 (talkcontribs) 13:49, 22 August 2022.

I believe you have User:RudleyDudley to thank for taking care of this. Nice!- jerodast (talk) 08:05, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
