This is a template documentation subpage for Template:Suppress category. It contains usage information, categories, interlanguage links and other content that is not part of the original template page.
This template uses Lua. Its code can be found under Module:String.
Suppress category allows wiki pages to suppress categories that are added by a template or other transclusion. It utilizes the replace function of the module. This should only be used in cases where the template can’t easily be modified to allow its own built in suppression via a parameter.
