Marks a position on a page with a superscript symbol that links down to a footnote, such that the footnote can link back up to it. Used in conjunction with {{note}} - see its documentation for examples.
- Parameters
First two parameters must match the corresponding {{note}}.
- 1 - Internal label linking the two positions; must be unique within the page
- 2 - Symbol to display
- noid - (optional) use
|noid=noidin the template call to disable linking back to this location. Could be used to set up multiple links to the same footnote which only links back to one (or none) of them.

See {{efn}} (explanatory footnote) for a similar superscript note icon that numbers itself automatically and supports multiple uses for a single footnote (like ref tags do), and usually links to the bottom of the page.
