This template places an {{Infobox}} for a character or being onto an article page, generally floating on the right side at the top. Infoboxes are a compact summary of key information and is one of the first things readers will see on the page. They should appear on every character page.
Aside from displaying the infobox, this template also adds appropriate categories for the character based on the creature types provided. This process relies on the {{linkcat}} and (indirectly) {{plural}} templates to get the right category — if the correct category does not appear for a given character type, {{plural}} may need to be updated.
