Gatecrash is the second set in the Return to Ravnica block. It is the 60^th Magic expansion and will be released on February 1, 2013.

Like its preceding expansion set, Return to Ravnica, Gatecrash is set in the city-state and plane of Ravnica, with its storyline featuring the guilds of Ravnica as well as guildless individuals. Thematically and mechanically, Gatecrash features the Boros Legion, House Dimir, Gruul Clans, Orzhov Syndicate, and Simic Combine.

Gatecrash introduces the ability words Battalion and Bloodrush as the mechanics for the Boros Legion and Gruul Clans, respectively, and the keywords Cipher, Evolve, and Extort as the mechanics for House Dimir, Simic Combine, and Orzhov Syndicate, respectively.
