Sylvain Lauriol, also known as Fevin[1], is a French former professional player. He won the Scottish Championship (then a precursor event to the UK Nationals) in 1998[2], before becoming French National Champion in 2001 and 2006.

Lauriol has been a judge since 1998. He was a Core Member of the Duel Commander Committee for ten years, and resigned from that position in June 2024.[1][3][4] In November 2025, in the wake of a split in the Duel Commander Committee, he co-signed a letter supporting William Pinaud, the owner of mtgdc.info, as the "true leader" of the format.[5]

Lauriol was the shopkeeper for Equinoxe 7, a French Magic: the Gathering store, for 8 years. He owns and manages mtgtop8.com, a tournament tracking website.[1]
