Information
Plane Dominaria
Part of Madara, Jamuraa

Sekana was a fisherman's port near the Talon Gates on Madara.

Descripion

Sekana was a fishing village, but it was also a critical harbor of Madara, being the only seaport on southwestern Madara that could launch large ships. Sekana lay at the bottom of a steep staircase carved into the cliffs. The stairway began just beyond a fifteen-foot-high reproduction of the Talon Gates. Located nearby was a natural sea cave with a dry floor.[1]

History

At the onset of the Madara-Edemi War, the cat-dragon Wasitora made this place her home.[2] The imperial champion Tetsuo Umezawa challenged her to a duel because he wanted her to leave the place. Still, the fight was interrupted by an invading Elder Land Wurm. After Wasitora helped to defeat the creature, Tetsuo appointed her as his deputy in Sekana.

Later, when Tetsuo had renounced his title as imperial champion, the kentsu came to destroy Sekana to lure him out. However, the forces that were sent there were slaughtered by Wasitora's kittens.[3]

Sekana is a prosperous town of the new nekoru-occupied Madaran Empire.
