Rachel Weeks is a Los Angeles-based podcaster, writer, and comedian with a love of all things nerdy. She is a member of the Commander Format Panel (CFP).
Description
Weeks is co-host from Magic: the Gathering Commander podcast The Command Zone and plays Spelljammer D&D on a live-streamed show called Better Than Heroes.
Weeks originally learned to play Magic in Denver. Her formative Magic experiences were very much those of a casual kitchen table player and all the better for it. As she got more entrenched in Commander and Magic in general, she decided to start making content. The Commander Sphere podcast, co-hosted with her friend and fellow comedian Dan Sheehan, was born out of the desire to talk about the casual yet still powerful parts of Commander. After three years, she left the Commander Sphere to join the cast of the Command Zone.[1]
In 2021, Weeks became part of the Commander Advisory Group.[2][3] When the Commander Rules Committee and the Advisory Group were dissolved in 2024, she transferred to the CFP.[4]
