At the Pro Tour level, his highest placing was in the neighbouring Czech Republic, finishing 31st at the 2006 Pro Tour Prague. Similarly, he captained Poland to a team Top 16 finish the year Worlds was held in nearby Berlin.
Ober has operated the Polish Language pyschatog.pl news website for 15 years, and as of 2025 was still competing in Regional Championship events.[2]
